☆ first, second, third など、順序をあらわす語を ≪序数≫ と言う。

≪序数≫ は ｢〜番目｣ や ｢〜日｣ をあらわすときに使われる。

third 以降は、fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth,

eleventh, twelfth のように続く。

13〜19は各数字のあとに th をつける。（ thirteenth, fourteenth, fifteenth, 

sixteenth, seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth ） 



そのあとは twentieth, twenty-first, twenty-second, … twenty-ninth, 

thirtieth, thirty-first と続く。
